Judy Rossmoore Veale, CTC
Travel Junkie, Dream Merchant and Travel Consultant
Judy was struck with a wander-lust since traveling with her Grandma when she was 15. That was 5 decades ago! In that time, life has taken her to over 116 countries, making her eligibility to be a member of the “Century Club”- a slam dunk!
Judy’s enthusiasm in exploring the world includes the traditional and most likely takes in the ‘exotic, the outrageous, the adventuresome and quirky experiences in life’. If it is ‘off the beaten track’, then Judy’s curiosity will lead her there. From: fishing for piranha in the Amazon, to doing paramedical work in Nicaragua, to going on an elephant safari in Nepal, to being a licensed race car driver, paragliding over Lake Como, scuba diving, or playing laser tag in a WWII airplane…. or cruising the Persian Gulf, Judy is a willing participant.
Judy’s experience and longevity has allowed her to experience the breadth of travel: from flying on the Concord, to sailing on the Marjorie Merriweather Post and EF Hutton’s former yacht ~ Sea Cloud or cruising on the Sea Goddess, Regent QEII, or traveling on the fabulous Orient Express, to staying in the first underwater hotel “Jules Undersea Lodge” or to shivering at the “Ice Hotel”…. to attending the opening of the Salzburg Music Festival, Venice Film Festival or La Scala… and to dressing up as Marie Antoinette for the world famous Carnevale Ball in Venezia.
Judy has spent two decades as proprietrix of two boutique Travel Agencies in Sarasota, called “a foreign affair…”., holds the highest degree in the field of Travel: CTC- Certified Travel Consultant, and loves creating lifetime experiences for her clientele.
With a Masters in Education from University of South Florida, Judy taught and designed, escorted and guided High School and College trips to Europe and South America for credit. Judy also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, in Norton, Ma., an AA from Pine Manor College, Chestnut Hill, MA.
Judy has happily lived on Lake Como, Italy for 30 years. She is honored to be a God-mommy (La Marenne) to three French God-Children. Thankfully, Judy loves speaking foreign languages…. which includes: Italian, French, Spanish and English! She is a mom to 3 and a Grandy to two, delighting her. Best yet, is Judy’s enthusiasm, creativity and her ability to listen to her client’s wishes~ enabling her to transform dreams into reality and travel fantasy into ‘real life’.
